Hey There!
Okay okay…yes, I am extremely late with this post. But rest assured, I don’t have Swine Flu. Turns out that my flight back to Australia carried the first confirmed case of swine flu so I’ve been nervously waiting for the authorities to show up and quarantine my house, practice and pets!?!
Chicago was great and in the next few weeks, I will give you insights into the world of Planet Dan and some of the latest breakthroughs from the USA. I’m even thinking of writing a report from the trip if enough people are interested in it.
I want to spend time today and talk to you about SELF-BELIEF. There’s a great clip that inspired this…so go and watch and then come back…

I watched this over 10 tens and cried each time. The comments from Simon Cowell (genius) were pivotal and another timely yet timeless piece. You see, it’s become my observation working with many success orientated people that MOST people have the goods and many lack the opportunities to show their knowledge, skills and talents. So Simon is right, “When your good, your good. It’s about self-belief now”
And the best way to build self-belief is to build up your confidence with one success at a time. It doesn’t have to be big, one of my clients considers success with “waking up”. Another one is to hug her spouse is success. See, these little steps and success help build you up and has an accumulative effect.
And the good news is with the uncertain economy, more and more CEO’s and business leaders will be looking for talented people to help them grow their businesses. So if you have been preparing yourself the last few years, it’s time to harvest and approach businesses you want to work for and put in your proposal…you may be pleasantly surprised.
In the last few years, I noticed my role from implementing seminar marketing strategies to nurturing talent and connecting people with great opportunities. I did not intentionally acquire this role, it was something that I “grew’ into. In fact, I’ve had a consistently high success rate in picking talented people because I’m constantly watching behaviour…opps, just let a MAJOR secret out. In fact, Dan Kennedy often talks about the difference between multi-millionaires and the rest of us is their “BEHAVIOUR”…that’s why you may hear one of my famous quotes spread around “it’s not congruent”…
Listen, your self-belief will dictate your life. Your decisions in your moments determine your destiny. Good talent will always be on hire and the right mentors and advisers will gravitate to you when you most need it.
Embrace it!
Marketing with Passion,
Chen
P.S Many of you have asked me about a personal coaching program to spend some one on one time with me. Good news is that I will be restructuring my business to accommodate for this and will let you know. Obviously I don’t want it to be just another coaching program, it will be different I promise you!
(you get me!
)

Oh, yes, certainly tissue box time watching that video, BUT also wonderful to nourish the soul.
We all need to be reminded about self-belief on an ongoing basis.
Great material, Chen.
