Hey There,
I’ve had many people ask me what’s happened with Conversations with Chen. As I told members last year, CWC will be monthly now.
I am working on a “paid” weekly version and that will be released next month. So the next issue of CWC will be 30th January 2011.
In the meantime, I wanted to send my thoughts and prayers to the people affected by floods.
I must admit, I was paralyzed to the “news” on tv and couldn’t believe what I was seeing.
The scale of devastation and tragedy of lives lost will make this disaster a permanent chapter in our nation’s history.
I’ve been asked by people affected by the QLD floods for my advice and have tried to help where I could.
We can all do something. And I encourage you to “do something” because it’s going to take a massive effort to rebuild again.
Last year, I did a video training with Brendon Burchard and he spoke about managing a crisis.
I want to share my notes with you because I have used the “lessons” to refocus my life. Enjoy!

*People let chaos drive their emotional energy – stay focused
*We all have a gift to help others
*The world needs you “being guided”
*People need your PRESENCE
*Be accountable to people around you
*In giving, we receive
*The world wants more of you
*Are you fully alive?
*The gift of presence is more powerful than the place you are in
*How present can you be in every single moment
*Don’t leave them wondering, let them know
*Forgiveness and letting go is the higher path of living (“grace”)
*To live in past events is cheating you of life
I hope you learnt something from the notes above. I know it has allowed me to become a better leader, be more present and be more willing to share my gifts with others.
It doesn’t matter where you are in life, it’s about asking better questions. And two questions that many people often ignore are:
What do I want?
Who do I love?
When you get the “big rocks” in your life sorted, the pebbles (people) and sand (problems) are solved with water (solutions).
The more thinking time you spend on these questions, the more clarity you will develop.
Nothing is missing…in every adversity, there are great opportunities to serve.
